Highland Tennis Championships

Known as the second oldest tournament in Scotland, the Tennis Highland Championships have taken place since 1896 in the grounds of the Atholl Palace Hotel. The well-known championships attract many visitors each year to Pitlochry.
Newly refurbished, the four all weather courts nestle sheltered among the trees and overlook the castle like towers of Atholl Palace Hotel. Held annually in September, the event is associated with many famous names over the years and none ever forget the unique atmosphere the event generates.
