Queen Elizabeth was of the opinion that this spectacular view was named so after she visited the local area back in 1866 however there are various other reports and information to suggested Queens View may have in fact been named after Queen Isabella of Scotland over 550 years previous.

Not only does Queens View boast a visitor centre and stunning views it also home to a range of beautiful woodland walks suitable for all ages and fitness levels and easy to navigate with all routes mapped, described and graded by colour. The kids will love searching for and spotting the wealth of wildlife in the woodland areas whether it be a squirrel or a soaring eagle.
